I have created mainly tableware using 'Urushimaki' or a 'lacquer overglazing' technique.
'Urushimaki ' is a traditional technique which uses lacquer to glue powdered paints on ceramics. Sophisticated and bright colors can be produced with this technique.
The origins of 'Urushimaki' are not clear. However,
it is my goal to put these valuable techniques which have been handed down to us from our ancestors to use by creating tableware which can be enjoyed in everyday life.
My works have been shown in both one-man and group exhibitions.
I have also collaborated with fashion creators on various occasions.
